Renowned for its unique pattern and boasting a heartwood colour that can vary from golden brown to medium brown, Kiaat will exude opulence in your interior space.
Malaysian Oak

Schönn’s Malaysian Oak has a beautiful blonde to medium tan colour with a finger-jointed appearance (joining smaller wood segments) and a good touch surface.
Wood Finishes - also known as colour stains
Schönn’s finish options alter the appearance of your chosen wood in step 1 and therefore the finished product will look like the finish (colour stain) itself and not the wood underneath. Finishes will appear different on the above wood options.
If you don’t choose a stain, the wood will appear as is it is in step 1. A clear coat protective layer is applied to the wood if no finish/stain option has been chosen.

MelaWood® is a durable, scratch and moisture-resistant surface that is easy to clean. Each option features a glass-like surface with a gloss finish. Melawood is a man-made product where a decor paper is bonded to the wooden board’s surfaces under heat and pressure. The wooden board is an engineered wood product made by breaking down hardwood or softwood residuals into wood fibres, often in a defibrator, combining it with wax and a resin binder, and forming it into panels by applying high temperature and pressure

Powder coating ensures your desired item is environmentally safe, corrosion-resistant, chip-resistant, and requires less maintenance. Normal ware and tear is expected. We do not recommend using items outside with no cover or where it will be exposed to the elements in such a way where it will deteriorate quicker.
All of Schönn’s original product’s steel components and structures, such as chair legs and mirror frames, have been powder coated to ensure longevity and durability.

Why Are There No Material Options?
We work with the best fabric suppliers in South Africa. They strive to adapt and bring the latest looks and styles into the country. Unfortunately, this means that their turnaround time in discontinuing material is very high, making it impossible for us to keep up with the latest fabric options.
We always recommend that our clients visit their nearest Home fabrics and Hertex to choose their material if they do not want our standard options. Then, send us an email with a picture of the name of the material, and we will send you a manual quote.
